i. Occupational Therapy

At AOTS, we provide OT in both community and clinic settings.

COMMUNITY – Our community OT visits each client in their own environment in order to assess the entire situation and ensure that there is suitable assistance and support in place. Each session is personalised to suit the individual and their needs. AOTS services all suburbs throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria.

CLINIC – Our clinic focuses on Robotic/Computer based therapy for both upper and lower limb. Each client’s program is designed according to their goals and functional needs. All therapists within the clinic are fully trained on the Tyromotion devices that are used throughout everyone’s sessions. Our clinic is based in Moorabbin.

AOTS staff work closely with each client’s treating team in order to ensure that they are provided with the best care possible.

AOTS has a number of OTs on staff, all of whom are AHPRA registered. Our OTs have had extensive experience within the OT field and they have varied specialities. This enables a variety of services to be provided, enabling each session to be specialised to address each individual’s needs.

ii. Support Coordination

Our experienced Support Coordinators are here to assist you with all of your NDIS needs. Our team will work with you to reach your goals and ensure your funding is used effectively. They will ensure you are supported by appropriate therapists and support workers in order to build your capacities and daily living skills. Areas that can also be addressed are maintaining relationships, managing service delivery, and community access.

iii. Allied Health Assistant

We are thrilled to be able to add Allied Health Assistant (AHA) to our growing team.

Our AHA team is available to assist individuals with retraining of daily living activities including tasks such as showering and dressing, community access and shopping. Executive functioning including organisation skills, planning, sequencing, and following instructions can also be the focus of sessions. In-home upper limb programs can also be completed by our experienced AHA team. The possibility of support from our AHA is endless depending on client goals.

Our AHA team also leads a weekly Creative Art Sessions that will not only be a great social opportunity, but it will also incorporate aspects of Upper Limb Therapy!

Please fill in the attached referral form for any of our listed services so that we can assist you as soon as possible.
